This is a personal notebook, kept mainly to remember when the waxwings arrive each winter and which trees they choose. It started as a paper notebook and moved here because paper gets wet.

There are no comments, accounts or trackers. If a species name is wrong, it is wrong in the paper notebook too.

Good references for anyone starting out: a pocket field guide, a pair of 8×42 binoculars, and patience near anything with berries on it in December.
